2018 Season coming to an end

Just like that, another season has come and gone at Woodbine. It's been a great year for me as an EFP videographer with Woodbine Entertainment. When you're working hard and enjoying what you do, time seems to go by all too fast. It feels like just yesterday we were shooting promotions for The 159th Queen's Plate, and now the action at the track is coming to a close. It's always a good idea to take some time to slow down and think about everything that happened over the last year, so I decided to do just that. I grabbed the slow motion camera (SONY FS7 for those who are curious!) and went out for a day of shooting on the grounds. It was the perfect way to reflect back on the 2018 season.

Cheers to all my friends and colleagues at Woodbine!

Last Week at Global Winnipeg

As you may or may not know I'm a photog at Global News Winnipeg... well, I WAS a photog at Global News Winnipeg. It is by far one of the coolest jobs ever. It was a pretty incredible opportunity to showcase stories on interesting people and events around the city and province.  You never knew what you were getting into each week, and that was something I just loved about the job. To give you an idea of how diverse the weekly shoots were here is a little montage I put together of a few shots from my last 5 days at work. Hanging with polar bears, going to car shows and learning about what goes into being a wine sommelier are a few examples. I'm sad to say goodbye, but excited for new adventures on the horizon. Stay tuned to see what is coming!
