COVID-19 Vaccine Q&A: Pregnancy

Been neglecting my media feed for a bit. It’s been a busy two months for me. I’ve recently moved into a new house and have been juggling work and life as well. I have a backlog of photos and videos I want to share. I’m going to start with a video from a Q&A I did with the Medical Director, Women’s Health at Trillium Health Partners. This was an interesting and informative series. Nothing too exciting about the videography here, but I did like the way the opening graphic looks, so here it is!

I’ve got a lot more content to share from the last little while, so be sure to come back and check it out!

We’re In This Together: A COVID-19 Survival Story

Here is a video that I had the pleasure of working on for Trillium Health Partners. These days it's nice to be telling a positive story.

The work everyone does at THP is so important, especially during a pandemic. I'm incredibly grateful to have the privilege to tell stories like these and work around the people who step up and fully commit themselves to keep our community safe.

After returning from a trip to Miami, Florida in March, Richard Reid developed a severe headache and worsening cough. It was confirmed that he had contracted #COVID19 and within days Richard was intubated and in critical condition at THP.

Thankfully he pulled through and today he's sharing his story—coupled with a special surprise—to remind us that there’s work yet to be done.

"I don't believe we should be fearful because I don't think that's a way to live and I certainly haven't lived that way. We have some really basic guidelines that we can follow and we can still live a full life within those guidelines. Let's do that and let's get it done with."

Hello Begonia and Congrats!

Congrats to Winnipeg musician Begonia on her album release. Gave it a listen today and it is just delightful. I’d suggest you give it a go as well! FEAR - BEGONIA

A few years back I shot a few videos of them for a local radio station to promote her music. The band was a pleasure to work with and I wish them all the best on this newest album.

Social Media Break

I took a bit of a break from all things online. I haven’t been posted anything on any of my social media platforms since February… but worry not, I am still alive and still getting some shooting in. I’ve been focused on work, travel and fitness. I’ve got a lot of content I should probably share with you. I’ll start with a little project I shot for Woodbine Entertainment Group. It’s a short video I shot to promote the Kentucky Derby Day Party at Woodbine Racetrack. Inspired by those “Tasty” videos that you may have seen on Instagram or Facebook. This dish was created by Michael Mortensen, Executive Chef with Woodbine Entertainment Group. Shot on a Sony FS7 and GoPro Hero5.

2018 Season Slowdown

Just like that, another season has come and gone at Woodbine. When you're working hard and enjoying what you do, time seems to go by all too fast. Sometimes it’s good to just slow down and reflect.

Throwback - Begonia - Juniper

The other night I went to see Begonia and Royal Canoe live at a bar here in Toronto. The show was amazing and I definitely recommend giving those bands a listen if you haven't already heard them. After seeing these guys play I remembered a video I shot/edited of Begonia for Fresh FM and Global News a few years back.
