2017 Muaythai Canada National Championship

I had the opportunity to shoot a Muay Thai tournament the other day. I love the sport of  MMA, so to see these specialist in action was a real treat. If you don't know, Muay Thai is a combat sport using a combination of knees, elbows, kicks, punches and the clinch. I've never practiced Muay Thai myself, but despite that I still really admire what these athletes do. It's like a high stakes chess match up. The work ethic and determination you have to have to pursue this sport is really amazing.

I will definitely be jumping on future opportunities to shoot any martial art related event I can! Hopefully there is more of this in my future.
