Last Project with Trillium Health Partners

After nearly three years of working with Trillium Health Partners, my time has come to a close. I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've had and the amazing people I got to work with.

I always tell people this, and it's so true - if in my interview I was told that there was a pandemic on the horizon I may have had second thoughts about taking the job. However, I'm so glad I did.

Documenting and telling the stories of what was happening within the hospital’s walls was a really compelling experience.

For my last project with THP I got to tell the story of this brave family and the amazing team that cared for them in some of their darkest moments.

I'm going to miss telling these stories and working with such an incredible team. Thanks so much Trillium Health Partners.

Snow Day Street Portraits // 20.01.22

One of my favourite genres of street photography is “street portraits.” It’s not something I’ve been practicing as frequently as I would like to, but I’m hoping to change that. When I started shooting I definitely did a lot more of this. I’ve been trying to carry around my Fuji X100V with me everywhere, so hopefully that will open up more opportunities to shoot some strangers.

The other day, here in Toronto, we got walloped with a big snow fall. I decided to go out to shot some photos while the snow was falling. I managed to get some interesting street portraits. Here are some of my greatest hits from that day.

Richmond Cycle Track Street Art Project 3 // POTD 23.07.21

I’ve been hired to document the creation of some new street art murals here in Toronto. 125 artists are creating 353 murals along the bicycle track on Richmond Avenue. I attempted to shoot this entire project on my Fuji Film X100V. It was an interesting experiment and I think I’m pretty happy with the results. From the feedback I’ve received from the StART Toronto it seems like they are happy with the results as well.

I’m going to write a review on this camera based on my experience shooting this project. Keep an eye out for that. For now here is the last image I took of this project. Hope to work with this team more in the future.

Richmond Cycle Track Street Art Project 2 // POTD 15.07.21

I’ve been hired to document the creation of some new street art murals here in Toronto. 125 artists are creating 353 murals along the bicycle track on Richmond Avenue. Can’t wait to share more of these images once the project is complete! For now here is a trio from a small section of the bike-able street art gallery.
